GRIP Technology partnered with the Ohio Arts Council to redesign and redevelop ArtsinOhio.com. This site is the central resource for arts and cultural events in Ohio.

"With an entirely updated interface and design, as well as new features, ArtsinOhio.com is once again on the cutting edge of Web sites," said Jami Goldstein, interim director in the Public Information Office of the Ohio Arts Council.

GRIP designed and developed the new site to meet the arts and cultural information needs of the Ohioans and to provide a dynamic portal for the Ohio cultural organizations. Some specific functional updates include:

• Cleaner, more eye catching design.
• Intuitive search interface whereby the user can search for arts and cultural events through the three categories of what, where and when. The events are pulled from the Ohio EventFinder (produced by GRIP) that contains more than 15,000 events held by more than 2,000 organizations.
• Ability to highlight featured events from organizations throughout the state in a visually appealing manner.
• Inclusion of popular events based on the most popular searches for events though the Ohio EventFinder.
• Event tags for arts and cultural categories that are organizaed by their popularity in searches.
• The search results pages can be sorted by date, name or popularity.
