GRIP Technology was recognized on National Philanthropy Day as the 2008 Outstanding Small Corporation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Central Ohio Chapter. GRIP was nominated by the Columbus Museum of Art.
The National Philanthropy Day Awards recognize outstanding achievements by companies, individuals, foundation/corporate philanthropists, fundraising volunteers and professional fundraisers.
GRIP is extremely honored to receive this distinguished award. We want to thank the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Central Ohio Chapter as well as the entire Columbus Museum of Art team for nominating us and for being incredible partners for so many years.
Columbus has a rich tradition of philanthropy and this helped to serve as the foundation for one of GRIP Technology’s core values - giving back to the community. One of the ways we work to achieve this is to donate more than 15 percent of our professional services time to develop Web sites, interactive communications and other Web-based applications, such as online donation forms and campaigns, to help local and national non-profit organizations grow and create a better world for us all. Through our work with such outstanding organizations such as the Columbus Museum of Art, Greater Columbus Arts Council, Prevent Cancer Foundation, Hope Street Kids, Experience Columbus, the Columbus Chamber and many others, we have been part of an incredible effort to build a better tomorrow.
We congratulate all of the 2008 award winners as well as those that have been recognized in the past. Most important, we want to thank everyone that attended the awards banquet for providing the time, energy and resources to build a better community for us all.
