The Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation's (COWIC) mission is to serve as the champion for a workplace and learning system that creates a vibrant economy for central Ohio, and lifelong employment and training opportunities for every City of Columbus and Franklin County resident. GRIP was selected as COWIC's partner to redesign and redevelop its Web site to help achieve this mission.
During the process, GRIP completed a formal assessment of COWIC's interactive objectives, needs and desires as well as developed a comprehensive interactive communications plan to drive the creation of the new site. The final result is a Web solution that appeals to its key target audiences – employers, job seekers, community leaders and partners. The updated Web site also includes enhanced functionality from the previous site including a flexible content management system and enhanced search engine optimization capability due to the PHP site infrastructure.
The site is earning compliments from both internal and external audiences, and is a key resource for our community. Vist the site now.
