The Objective
Velocys is changing the way the world produces energy, chemicals and biofuels with revolutionary microchannel technology. Velocys, a spinoff of Batelle (www.battelle.com), is commercializing processing systems that provide energy and chemical companies with substantial capital cost savings, improved product yields and greater energy efficiencies. Velocys needed to update its Web site to reflect this positioning.
The Solution
GRIP Technology partnered with Velocys to develop a Web solution that appealed to its key target audiences – investors and potential partners. The updated Web site included enhanced functionality from the previous site including a flexible content management system and enhanced search engine optimization capability due to the PHP site infrastructure.
The Results
Velocys' new site better reflects the company’s current market focus and is earning compliments from both internal and external audiences. Now Velocys can focus on what is most important attracting the interest of investors and developing new technology breakthroughs without worrying about the image it is portraying to the outside world.
